Resurfacing Project along Hopyard Road in East Haddam

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a resurfacing project will be performed on Hopyard Road (SSR 434) in East Haddam beginning Monday, October 20, 2014. 

      The project consists of resurfacing a 4.25 mile segment of Hopyard Road and should be completed by Wednesday, October 22.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures on SSR 434 (Hopyard Rd.) between Rte. 82 to Haywardville Rd. in East Haddam.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
