Replacement of Bridge No. 02481, Route 77 (Durham Road) in the Town of Guilford
The Department of Transportation is announcing the start of a traffic detour around the work site for the replacement of Bridge No. 02481 on Route 77 (Durham Road) in Guilford, commencing August 18, 2014.
The project consists of the replacement of Bridge No. 02481 including utility relocations, upgrades to metal beam rail, pavement resurfacing, and safety improvements.
DOT Project No. 0059-0159 was awarded to Dayton Construction Company, Inc. at a cost of $410,052.00 on May 23, 2014 and is scheduled to be completed August 31, 2014.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists on Route 77 (Durham Road) can expect full road closure starting on Monday 18, 2014 to Monday August 25, 2014. After August 25, 2014, alternating one-way traffic will be in place until August 31, 2014. 

Detour route for northbound traffic onto Route 80 then to Route 79 in Madison and southbound traffic unto Route 79 in Madison to Route 80. 

Starting on Tuesday August 26, 2014, work is scheduled to be done Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. and Saturday between 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. Sunday.
