Rehabilitation of Bridge Number 3290 and 3291  -  Route 9 NB & SB over Nedobity Road
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that one lane of traffic in both directions will be continuously closed for the rehabilitation of bridge number 3290 and 3291 – Route 9 over  Nedobity Road, in the town of Haddam,  from now through July 1, 2014.
The project consists of replacing bridge beam bearings and sole plates, pedestals, construction of new backwalls, concrete repairs on abutments and piers, new elastomeric joints, and deck repairs.  
DOT Project No. 0060-152/153 was awarded to Mohawk Northeast Inc. at a cost of $2,436,738.05 on January 14, 2014 and is scheduled to be completed November 22, 2014.

Route 9 Northbound and Southbound traffic shall be restricted to one lane of through traffic continuously from now until July 1, 2014.
