Rehabilitation of Bridge 03590, Gardner Street over I-384 & Birch Mountain Brook
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the rehabilitation of Bridge 03590, Gardner Street over I-384 & Birch Mountain Brook in Manchester is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, September 15, 2014.
The project consists of patching the existing deck, spot painting the steel girders, replacing the expansion bearings and repairing the substructure. The bituminous overlay will be removed on top of the deck and full and partial depth deck patching will be performed.  A new bituminous overlay will be installed. Minimal approach roadway work is required.
