Pothole Patching along I-84 Cheshire/Waterbury Town Line to the New York State Line; Lane Closures Required

    

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing a pothole patching operation on I-84 Eastbound and Westbound from Exit 1 to Exit 26, February 22 and 23, 2014.  Alternating lane closures will occur from the Cheshire/Waterbury Town Line to the New York State Line.

      The project consists of pothole patching on I-84 Eastbound and Westbound from the Cheshire/Waterbury Town Line to the New York State Line, from Exit 1 to Exit 26.  This project is scheduled to occur on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

      Motorists can expect lane closures Eastbound and Westbound from Exit 1 to Exit 26.  Impact Attenuators and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is Saturday, February 22, 2014, from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
