Permit Project: The Butler Company, Inc. will be widening and installing drainage on Simsbury Road, (Route 10), between Fischer Drive and the Avon-Simsbury town line in Avon
The project consists of installing new catch basins, drainage pipe and widening Simsbury Road, Route 10, between Fischer Drive and the Avon/Simsbury town line in the town of Avon.  This project is scheduled to begin Monday, June 9, 2014 and continue through Monday, June 30, 2014.  The work is being performed under CTDOT Permit.
Motorists can expect alternating one lane traffic on Route 10, between Fischer Drive and the Avon/Simsbury town line in the town of Avon. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorist through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Monday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
