Nighttime Traffic Sensor Installations along Route 2 in East Hartford

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime traffic sensor installation project will be performed on Route 2 at the Maple Street ramps in East Hartford beginning Wednesday evening, November 12, 2014.

     This work is scheduled to occur from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 to the morning of Friday, November 14, 2014.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 2 Eastbound and Westbound at the Maple Street Ramps, East Hartford. State Police and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
