Nighttime Traffic Sensor Installation I-84 Eastbound and Westbound in East Hartford

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime traffic loop installation project will be performed on I-84 Eastbound and Westbound in East Hartford beginning Tuesday, November 18, 2014.

      The traffic loop installation project will be performed on I-84 Eastbound and Westbound in East Hartford.  This project is scheduled to occur Tuesday, November 18, to Friday November 21, 2014, and Sunday November 23, to Tuesday, November 25, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on I-84 Eastbound and Westbound in East Hartford.  State Police and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
