Nighttime Survey Work on I-95 in Stamford; Lane Closures Required

   The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing nighttime lane closures to perform surveying for the Route 1 (East Main Street) bridge over I-95 in Stamford starting on Thursday, November 13, 2014.

         The project consists of the following work locations:

On Thursday night, November 13, on I-95 Northbound in the vicinity of Exit 9 from the Blachley Avenue overpass to approximately ¼ mile north of the Route 1 Bridge at the Hamilton Avenue underpass; the left two lanes will be closed to allow for survey of the pavement and bridge pier.  Both northbound exit and entrance ramps will remain open throughout this operation.

      This operation will be weather dependent. Rain dates are November 18 and November 20.
