Nighttime Street Sweeping on Route 8, June 26-27

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing a nighttime street sweeping operation on Route 8, northbound and southbound, in the towns of Derby, Ansonia, Seymour, Beacon Falls and Naugatuck, June 26-27, 2014.

      Hours of the operation will be from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Signing patterns, cones and truck mounted crash units will be utilized to guide motorists through the worksite.  Traffic will be alternating from left lane to right lane. 

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
