Nighttime Resurfacing Project, Route 83 in Manchester and Vernon
The project consists of resurfacing a 3.38 mile segment of Route 83 in Manchester and Vernon. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, July 27, 2014 to Thursday, July 31, 2014. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, August 3, 2014 to Thursday, August 7, 2014.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 83 between the beginning of the overlap of Route 30 to the end of the overlap of Route 30. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. 
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
