Nighttime Ramp Closures Scheduled for Route 7 South Exit 1 Ramp to Interstate 95 South in Norwalk
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the Route 7 south exit ramp to I-95 south in Norwalk will be closed nightly Monday through Friday from Monday, April 21 through Friday May 2, 2014, weather permitting.
The Route 7 southbound Exit ramp closure is required to allow for installation of drainage improvements along and across the ramp.  The work is part of a project to construct continuous auxiliary lanes (referred to as speed change lanes) between Interchange 14 (Route 1) and Interchange 15 (Route 7) and improvements to Route 1 in Norwalk.

Route 7 South Exit 1 Ramp to I-95 South closed Monday – Friday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Traffic will be detoured onto the West Avenue (South Norwalk) exit and re-enter I-95 southbound at the West Avenue on-ramp.
