Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing Project, Rte. 9 in Middletown and Cromwell.

     

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 9 northbound and southbound in Middletown and Cromwell through Tuesday, October 14, 2014.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures in the northbound and southbound direction of Route 9 from the northbound exit to Bow Lane to northbound overpass of Mattabesset River. Motorists can also expect all ramps within this termini to have limited access. Traffic control personnel, signing patterns, and crash attenuator vehicles will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday - Thursday)

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
