Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing Project, I-384, US 6, and US 44 in Bolton
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.46 mile segment of I-384, US 6, and US 44 in Bolton. The milling segment of this project is scheduled to be performed from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday, May 18, 2014 to the morning of Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 will be 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed Wednesday, June 4, 2014 to Thursday, June 12, 2014.
Motorists can expect lane closures in the east and westbound direction on I-384 from the underpass Route 85 (Bolton Center Road) to US 6 EB & US 44 EB; US 6 from the drive to Boston Turnpike Shopping Center to .17 miles west of the drive to Bolton Ice Palace; and US 44 from the end overlap of US 6 to 200' west of Quarry Road. Traffic control personnel, signing patterns, and crash attenuator vehicles will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday - Thursday) Tuesday, May 27, 2014 will be 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
