Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing along Route 2 Eastbound in East Hartford

     

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the nighttime milling and resurfacing project on Route 2 eastbound in East Hartford will continue through Tuesday, June 3, 2014.

      The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.62 mile segment of Route 2.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures in the eastbound direction of Route 2 from the beginning of overpass East River Drive to beginning of overpass Maple Street (including Ramps) in East Hartford. Traffic control personnel, signing patterns, and crash attenuator vehicles will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
