Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95 Northbound in Bridgeport;

Lane Closure Required

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 Northbound in Bridgeport, between 9 p.m. Tuesday, February 25 and 5 a.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2014.

      The project consists of bridge maintenance to the I-95 northbound bridge over Metro-North Railroad in Bridgeport. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

      Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 Northbound between Exit 24 (Route 1) and Exit 26 (Wordin Avenue #2) in Bridgeport.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to  5:00 a.m. (Tuesday - Wednesday).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
