Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95 in Norwalk; Lane Closures Required

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the nighttime East Avenue bridge maintenance project will continue on I-95 northbound and southbound in Norwalk through the morning of Tuesday, December 16, 2014.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 Northbound & Southbound between Exit 15 (U.S. Rt. 7) and Exit 17 (Rt. 33, Saugatuck Ave.) in Norwalk. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Monday – Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
