Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95 in Norwalk

     

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 Northbound & Southbound in Norwalk through the morning of Tuesday, December 9, 2014.

The project consists of bridge maintenance on Bridge #00060 (East Avenue) in Norwalk.  This project is scheduled to occur from 8:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. through the morning of Tuesday, December 9, 2014.  No work will occur over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 Northbound & Southbound between Exit 15 (U.S. Rt. 7) and Exit 17 (Rt. 33, Saugatuck Ave.) in Norwalk.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Monday – Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
