Nighttime Bridge Maintenance I-91 in New Haven; Lane Closures Required

     

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-91 Southbound in New Haven between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., Tuesday-Thursday, March 25-27, 2014.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

      Motorists can expect lane closures on I-91 Southbound between Exit 9 (Universal Drive, Montowese Avenue) and Exit 7 (Middletown Avenue) in North Haven and New Haven.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
