New I-95 Southbound Exit 14 Reopening in New Configuration on Thursday, December 18, 2014
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is continuing the improvements of Interstate 95 and Route 1 in Norwalk.  As part of the work, the southbound Exit 14 off-ramp will be reopened as a two lane exit with increased capacity for traffic entering US Route 1 on Thursday morning, December 18, 2014, weather permitting.
The new reconfigured off-ramp will provide increased capacity with a two lane exit, two left turn lanes and one right turn lane onto Route 1. These improvements should relieve some of the traffic delays on I-95 southbound traveling through Norwalk.
TRAVEL INFO-
When the traffic shift takes place on the night of December 17 (weather permitting), motorists should be prepared for delays on I-95 between 9:00 pm and 6:00am while the work is proceeding.
