MOTORIST ADVISORY - Expect Weekend Traffic Impacts Friday, October 24 through the evening of Sunday, October 26, 2014 on the I-91 Southbound off-ramp to I-95 Northbound and the Wooster Street on-ramp to I-95 Northbound to facilitate bridge work

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that activities related to bridge construction are expected to cause delays throughout the I-95 New Haven Corridor the weekend of Friday, October 24 through the evening of Sunday, October 26, 2014. Please plan ahead and consider alternate routes to get to your destination.

      The I-91 Southbound off-ramp to I-95 Northbound will be closed and detoured for long periods over the weekend of Friday, October 24 – Sunday, October 26, 2014.  The Wooster Street on-ramp to I-95 Northbound will be closed and detoured for the entire weekend of Friday, October 24 – Sunday, October 26, 2014. For detour information and alternate routes, please visit www.i95newhaven.com. CTDOT encourages safe driving throughout the I-95 New Haven Corridor and asks motorists to follow posted speed limits to maintain safe and efficient traffic flow as construction continues.

      These construction activities are necessary to facilitate bridge construction as work progresses on the Pearl Harbor Memorial (Q) Bridge, Reconstruction of the I-95 / I-91 / Route 34 Interchange and other projects that are part of the I-95 New Haven Harbor Crossing (NHHC) Corridor Improvement Program.
