Milling and Resurfacing along Route 111 in Monroe

     

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 111 in Monroe, June 2-9, 2014.

      The project consists of milling and resurfacing the 0.79 mile of Route 111 in Monroe.  This project is scheduled to occur Monday, June 2, 2014 to Tuesday, June 10, 2014.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, June 9, 2014 through Tuesday, June 10, 2014.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 111 from .10 mile north of Cross Hill Road to Route 110 (Shelton Road). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
