Lighting Maintenance on I-84 and Rt 8 in Waterbury

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the maintenance of highway lighting on I-84 and Route 8 in Waterbury on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at the following sites:

·         I-84, EB and WB, from Exit 17 to Exit 25A, including interchange ramps

·         Rte. 8 NB and SB, Exit 29 to Exit 35, including interchange ramps

The maintenance will be performed on Saturday, October 4, 2014  from 5:30 am to 10:00 am, on I-84,  EB and WB from Exit 17 to Exit 25A, including interchange ramps, and Rte. 8, NB and SB, Exit 29 to Exit 35, including interchange ramps, in Waterbury. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Impact attenuators and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zones.  The regular work schedule for this project is 5:30 am to 10:00 am. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.
