Installation of Pedestrian Bridge over Washington Boulevard in the City of Stamford

     

      The installation of the pedestrian bridge superstructure over Washington Boulevard in Stamford is expected to continue on the weekends of April 11-14 and April 25-27, and the entire project should be completed the week of May 5, 2014.

      The project consists of installing a prefabricated pedestrian bridge over Washington Blvd to connect the new development Gateway Garage at 406 Washington Boulevard to the Stamford Train Station Platform #4.

      DOT Project no. 0301-0149 was awarded to Waters Construction, of Bridgeport, CT at a cost of $2,808,899.40 on May 1, 2013 and is scheduled to be completed the week of May 3, 2014.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Washington Boulevard between South State Street and Station Place will be closed to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic from Friday at 9:00 PM to Monday at 5:00 AM.
