Installation of Pedestrian Bridge over Washington Boulevard in  Stamford
Washington Blvd between South State Street and Station Place will be closed to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic from Friday at 9:00 PM to Monday at 5:00 AM on the weekend of September 19, 2014. The project consists of installing a prefabricated pedestrian bridge over Washington Blvd to connect the new development Gateway Garage at 406 Washington Blvd to the Stamford Train Station Platform 4.  This is anticipated to be the final closure for this project.
DOT Project no. 0301-0149 was awarded to Waters Construction, of Bridgeport, CT at a cost of $2,808,899.40 on May 1, 2013, and is scheduled to be completed in October 2014.
