I-84 Westbound On-Ramp from Capitol Avenue in Hartford to be Closed for Overnight Work, March 10-11, 2014; Detour Required

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that I-84 westbound on ramp from Capitol Avenue will be closed overnight on Monday, March 10, and Tuesday, March 11, 2014, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. 

      The closure of the ramp in Hartford is necessary for pile-driving operations required for the construction of CTfastrak.

DETOUR INFO:

      Traffic will be detoured onto Broad Street, Farmington Avenue, and Asylum Street, with a connection to the I-84 westbound on-ramp from Asylum Street. 

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is working to inform local residents of current and upcoming construction activities through construction bulletins, press notices, travel alerts, as well as the CTfastrak web site.  For more information, please visit www.CTfastrak.com
