Guiderail Safety Improvements in Cromwell, Rocky Hill and Berlin

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a Guiderail Safety Improvement Project will be performed on Route 3 in Cromwell/Rocky Hill, State Route 411 and Route 99 in Rocky Hill, Route 160 in Rocky Hill/Berlin and Route 372 in Berlin/Cromwell.

      This work is scheduled to occur Monday, September 15, through Friday, September 26, 2014. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Rte. 3 from Sanford Lane to Commerce Drive in Cromwell and Rocky Hill, on SR 411 from Gilbert Ave. to Carillon Dr. in Rocky Hill, on   Rte. 99 from Hillside Ave. to Grimes Rd. in Rocky Hill, on Rte. 160 from Sheldon St. to Trinity Ridge in Berlin and Rocky Hill, and on Route 372 from Savage Hill Rd. to Main St. in Berlin and Cromwell.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (weekdays).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
