Flatbush Avenue I-84 Ramps in Hartford To Be Closed During Day on May 14

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that work associated with the bus rapid transit project known as CTfastrak for the reconstruction of the new Flatbush Avenue ramps will require daytime closures on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, between the hours of 9 AM and 2 PM for pavement repairs.

      The I-84 West Exit 45 off-ramp to Flatbush Avenue and the I-84 East on ramp from Flatbush Avenue will be closed at different times between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to allow for pavement repairs to be completed. 

DETOUR INFO

      I-84 West Exit 45 closure will detour traffic to Exit 44 off-ramp to Kane Street and onto New Park Avenue or Prospect Street to Flatbush Avenue.    

      Flatbush Avenue traffic will be directed to New Park Avenue and onto Prospect Avenue to entrance ramp to I-84 East

      Detour signs will be posted to direct traffic to alternate exit and entrances during the hours of closure. 

      In case of inclement weather the work will be rescheduled for Thursday, May 15, 2014.
