CL&P to Remove Old Electric Lines near Exit 17 on I-84 and Route 63 in Middlebury; Lane Closure Required

     

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that Connecticut Light & Power will be removing old overhead electric lines across the Exit 17 on ramp on I-84 and across Route 63 in Middlebury on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect ramp closures for up to five minute intervals as well as short delays on Route 63.  Traffic control will consist of State Troopers and signing patterns. 

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
