Bridge Maintenance, West Street over P&W Railroad in Middletown
The project consists of repairing the bridge deck of the West Street Railroad Bridge in Middletown. This project is scheduled to occur daily beginning Monday May 5, 2014 through Friday May 9, 2014. Motorists can expect a road closure on West Street South of Rte. 157 in Middletown.
Traffic control personnel and signs will direct traffic onto Rte. 157 south, left onto Butternut Street, and then back to West Street. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
