Bridge Maintenance, Route 16 over the Salmon River in East Hampton
The project consists of the installation of beam rail across Bridge # 00853 on Route 16 over the Salmon River in East Hampton. Also included will be the approach rail to account for the realignment of the bridge attachments.   This project is scheduled to occur from Monday, July 28, 2014 to  Friday, August 1, 2014. 
Motorists can expect alternating traffic on Route 16. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
