Bridge Maintenance on Various Bridges on SR 796 (Milford Parkway Ext.) Northbound and Southbound in Milford
The work consists of bridge maintenance on the bridges listed below. The work is scheduled to occur Monday, May 5, 2014 through Friday, June 20, 2014. No work will take place on Friday, May 23, 2014 through Tuesday morning May 27, 2014 for the Holiday.
  • Milford – Bridge No. 00143 under I-95 (0.52)
  • Milford – Bridge No. 01446 under Wheelers Farm Road (0.73)
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2014 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Mohawk Northeast.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on SR 796 (Milford Parkway Ext.) Northbound and Southbound between Route 1 (Post Road East) and Route 15 (Main Street) in Milford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (time may be modified due to traffic).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
