Bridge Maintenance on Route 2 Westbound in Colchester

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that bridge maintenance will be performed on the Route 2 bridge over Route 85 in Colchester beginning Monday, September 15, 2014. The project will continue through Friday, October 10.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Sign Patterns, arrow boards, crash attenuator vehicles, and message boards will be provided.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
