To inquire about an item lost on Department of Transportation property, please contact the CTDOT Security Division at 860-594-3053. 

It is the Department’s policy to attempt to return to its rightful owner any personal property which is discovered on any Department owned or operated facility or grounds; and to ensure proper disposition of abandoned, lost or unclaimed property. 

Please note that items recovered on Department property will only be held by the Department for a period of one month from the date of the initial discovery.
