Jobs First Employment Division
We help parents gain the skills they need to get and grow in a meaningful job – and not rely on cash assistance. This may include new skills for finding a good job, getting the right training, and taking classes. Every participant has a case manager. They'll help you get childcare and transportation benefits, get support from communicty groups, and more.
How to Apply
Follow the steps below to apply for temporary family assistance (TFA) with the Department of Social Services. If you qualify, a member of our team will help you get the support you need. American Job Center staff will help you find a good job to support your family.
