    The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) announced rail service changes on Shore Line East and Hartford Line as part of the State of Connecticut’s coordinated effort to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19. The following rail schedule changes will go into effect Monday, March 16th and will continue until further notice.

    Governor Ned Lamont and Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) Commissioner Joseph Giulietti today announced that the state has launched a mobile app providing commuters of the CTrail Hartford Line and Shore Line East with the ability to purchase tickets for the respective rail lines using their smartphone devices. The app, CTrail eTix, is a more convenient way to pay rail fare without needing to carry and display a paper ticket.
