EPA Honors Former DEEP Air Bureau Chief
At a ceremony in Boston today, recently retired Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) Chief of the Bureau of Air Management, Anne Gobin, was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
“During the course of her 32 years at the agency, Anne worked tirelessly to protect the air all of us in Connecticut breathe,” said DEEP Commissioner Rob Klee. “Her dedication and passion for the important work we do each day is legendary throughout the agency. I congratulate Anne on this achievement, and wish her continued years of happiness in retirement.”
Also honored at the ceremony was Norwalk based Diageo North America for the efforts to reduce the company’s environmental impact.
