Medical Marijuana Board of Physicians Meeting To Be Held Monday
Thursday, May 30th, 2019 – The Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) is notifying the public today that the Medical Marijuana Program’s Board of Physicians will be meeting this coming Monday, June 3rd to discuss adding several conditions to Connecticut’s program. Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting, and to testify regarding any of the conditions being discussed. The details of the meeting are:
WHO: Medical Marijuana Board of Physicians
WHAT: Meeting to discuss additional conditions in the Medical Marijuana Program
WHEN: Monday, June 3rd at 8:30am
WHERE: 450 Columbus Blvd., Hartford, CT 06103, Meeting Rooms C & D

The following conditions will be discussed:
- Chronic Pain
- Interstitial Cystitis
- Intractable Neuropathy Pain that Is Unresponsive to Standard Medical Treatments (Polyneuropathy)
- MALS Syndrome (Medial Arcuate Ligament Syndrome)
- Tourette Syndrome
- Vulvodynia and Vulvar Burning
After the Board hears testimony, and discusses each condition, they will vote regarding whether or not they believe the condition should be added to the program based on their medical expertise, and make a recommendation to the Commissioner. The Commissioner then reviews the recommendation, and any new conditions are added to the state agency’s regulations, and are subject to approval of the Connecticut General Assembly’s Regulation Review Committee.
