Milford Establishment Charged with Alleged Sale of Alcohol to Minors in Recent State/Local Inspection
HARTFORD, August 16 – The Department of Consumer Protection is releasing the results of recent inspections undertaken by its Division of Liquor Control in cooperation with the Milford Police Department.
On Friday, August 3, and on Friday August 11, agents from the Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Division and members of the Milford Police Department conducted routine inspections of several local businesses within the City of Milford for compliance with Connecticut Liquor laws, focusing on sales to minors and intoxicated persons.
Inspected during this time were:
- Mustang Sally’s Saloon, 21 Daniel Street
- Anthony D’s Bar & Grill, 331 New Haven Ave.
- SBC Restaurant, 15 New Haven Ave.
- Indigo by the Water, 1 Schooner Lane
- Alfa Pizza Restaurant, 54 Naugatuck Ave.
- Stonebridge Restaurant, 50 Daniel Street
- Citrus, 56 Broad Street
Of the establishments visited, Citrus was cited with four (4) counts of alleged sale to minors and four (4) counts of minors in the barroom.
For alleged sales to minors and minors in barroom, Citrus will be scheduled for an administrative hearing before the Liquor Control Commission to address the charges.
