What is the deadline to file my state of Connecticut taxes this year?

The Deadline Has Been Extended for Connecticut Individual Income Tax Returns

The Connecticut Department of Revenue Services has extended the filing and payment deadline for Connecticut individual income tax returns to Monday, May 17, 2021.

This aligns the state income tax deadline with the federal tax return deadline, also extended to the same date. 

Since Connecticut’s personal income tax return begins with federal Adjusted Gross Income, it is often beneficial to complete one’s federal income tax return first.
