General Parole Hearing Information
Parole hearings are generally held on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Parole hearings are either conducted via video connection or "in-person"/live at the institution.
Each hearing consists of three board members and a parole officer. Inmates are allowed to express to the board why they believe they should be paroled, the Board then asks a number of questions. Once these questions are complete, the Board convenes in Executive Session and returns to give the inmate the decision.
All hearings are scheduled ONLY when all information relative to the case is received.
Parole Hearing Attendance Information
Parole hearings can be viewed by the public. This includes friends and family.
Members of the public who wish to observe a parole hearing that is conducted via video (as indicated on the parole hearing calendar) should go to the following address by 9am on the day of the hearing:
