Attorney General Applauds EPA Finding That Greenhouse Gas Pollution Threatens Human Health, Environmente

"EPA's action is a game-changing step in the fight against global warming. Coming during the Copenhagen climate summit, this decision sends a powerful message that our nation recognizes the threat of global warming.

"We must move now -- decisively and directly -- against greenhouse gas pollution, forestalling catastrophic climate change. Now, EPA can begin the battle to control and contract CO2 pollution -- joining the world in the war against global warming.

"Contrary to claims of deniers, no reputable climate scientist disputes the reality of global warming. It is fact, plain and simple. Dithering will be disastrous."
